Accepting the Challenges of Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Management Development Research: a Viewpoint

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to put forward some ideas on what factors significantly affect entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, in order to help strengthen them as well as outline practical strategies that can be used by future researchers. The paper is a viewpoint contribution based on the author's research on “entrepreneurship” and “entrepreneurship education” engagement with the development of management in the agricultural field. A number of ideas are outlined under the following headings: creating mutually interesting content; demonstrating practical implications; motivating academics. The viewpoint summarizes the key challenges of agricultural entrepreneurship stakeholders and will be of interest to policy makers for the creation of well-targeted development programs.
