ABSTRACT

The use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to identify vehicles enables better monitoring of various processes, such as local bus, unauthorized vehicles and so on. These systems, known as Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) allow the company to use the facilities to carry out activities, so that, this study investigated the use of LPR (License Plate Recognition) as a tool for its BRT operation.
