Abstract: The main objective of this study is to examine the technical issues and conditions for designing and manufacturing a mini unmanned ground vehicle, using Fusion360 CAD software and 3D printing, mainly for educational purposes and for assessing available tools, technologies and practices of rapid prototyping. In the beginning, a historical review of the first car design and CAD software is given. Then, the relationship between the design of the car, using CAD software, and a 3D printer is mentioned, as well as the theoretical model, which the study focuses on, and the basic principles of the forces exerted on it, i.e., force and torque are presented. Then, the steps followed to design the unmanned ground vehicle, using Fusion360 to create a 3D model, are described. This is followed by a reference to 3D printers and an exploration of the hardware to be used to implement the 3D model. During the work, a static stress simulation has been carried out to confirm the durability of the structure. Finally, the 3D model is programmed into the 3D printer, and along with the appropriate settings it is printed and manufactured.
