TITLE

Characterization of PVA/chitosan Nano Fiber Membrane and Increasing Mechanical Properties with Cross-Linking by Heating

pdf PDF

ABSTRACT

A stable Chitosan (Cs)/Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) nanofiber membrane was made for an aqueous environment. To achieve this, using the design of the experiments with the surface response method (RSM) and central composite design (CCD) approach. We obtained a suitable concentration of polymers solution and the ratio of the Cs:PVA combination. The cross-linking temperature was optimized.
