ABSTRACT

The maritime cruise operation in Brazil just had another season in the 2015-2016 summer. In the 2014-2015 season, 549,619 cruise passengers (domestic and international) had used the port departure terminals [1]. Inside the ship, activities such as entertainment, gastronomy and hosting lead to displacement of people, luggage and materials. Also on ground there is an intense movement of travellers guided by the travel agencies and locals. It is during the travel time schedule that this article suggests the use and application of security and traceability technologies through implantation of RFID, in order to provide travellers, service suppliers and surveillance authorities a safety and traceable travel experience.
